Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how SIA "IDT Media", Reg. No.: 40103659860 (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our" or "Venta Theme"), the company behind Venta Theme and Magebit, uses, stores and discloses information we collect from you or about you when you visit ventatheme.com or contact us. Your privacy is important to us and we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the information you provide remains secure. Please take a moment to read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, or if you have a complaint, you should first contact us at gdpr@magebit.com, or by writing to us at: Aleksandra Caka 125 - 7, Riga, LV 1011, Latvia.
What do we do with your information?
Personal data means any information relating to you which allows us to identify you, such as your name, contact details, information about your access to our website etc.
When you fill in the contact form on our website, we collect the personal data you give us — your name, e-mail address, phone number, company website, the service you are interested in and your message — to respond to your request. These data can be used to communicate with you and for potential communication with you in the future (no more than 36 months from the date of receipt).
When you browse our website, we also automatically receive some of your computer's data, including internet protocol (IP) address and browser, in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browsing experience, troubleshoot technical concerns, maintain website safety and security, and better understand how our website is used.
Who receives your information
Enquiries sent through the contact form are delivered to our team's internal messaging workspace (Slack) and stored in our customer relationship and e-mail tools so that we can reply and follow up. These providers process the data on our behalf and only for that purpose.
Information about cookies and similar tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files or pieces of information that are stored on your computer when you visit a website. A cookie will usually contain the name of the website from which the cookie has come from, the duration of cookie, and a value, which is usually a randomly generated unique number.
We use two kinds. Strictly necessary cookies and similar storage are needed for the website to work — for example, remembering your cookie choice, and the Cloudflare Turnstile check that protects our contact form from automated abuse. These are used regardless of consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.
Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and are only set if you accept them. Until you answer the cookie banner, or if you reject, no analytics or advertising cookie is set and no identifier is stored on your device. Google's tag does run in a cookieless "consent denied" mode (Google Consent Mode): it sends Google an aggregate signal that a page was viewed, without cookies and without any identifier that could recognise you on a later visit. Google uses these signals only for statistical modelling. No other analytics or advertising provider receives any request from your browser.
What we use if you accept
Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads — measure how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which links are clicked, and whether a visit that started from one of our Google advertisements led to an enquiry or a visit to our demo store. The information generated about your use of the website, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google, including on servers in the United States. Their cookies (_ga, _ga_<id>, _gcl_au, _gcl_aw) last between three months and two years. If you send us an enquiry, we also pass Google a one-way hash of the e-mail address you entered so the enquiry can be matched to the advertisement that brought you here; Google cannot recover the address from the hash. You can read Google's privacy information at https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html.
Advertising click identifier — when you arrive from a Google advertisement, the address of the page you land on carries a click identifier (gclid). We keep it in your browser's local storage for 90 days and attach it to any enquiry you send us, so that we can later report to Google which advertisements led to a customer. It contains no information about you, only about the click.
Changing or withdrawing your cookie choice
You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Select "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and choose again. If you withdraw consent we tell Google's tag to stop using cookies and identifiers, delete the analytics and advertising cookies we can reach from your browser, and reload the page so that nothing further is loaded beyond the cookieless mode described above.
Your choice is remembered on your own device for six months, after which we will ask again. Clearing your browser's site data also clears it, and you will be asked on your next visit.
Rights related to Data Protection
You have the right to access, correct, update or request deletion of the personal data collected about you. If you change your mind after you opted in, you may withdraw your consent to the continued use or disclosure of your information at any time by contacting us at gdpr@magebit.com or writing to us at: SIA "IDT Media", Aleksandra Caka 125 - 7, Riga, LV 1011, Latvia.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate privacy or data protection regulator in your jurisdiction.
Disclosure
You are responsible for any personal data of third parties obtained, published or shared through the contact form on our website and confirm that you have legal basis to provide the data to us. We may disclose your personal data to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
Information we receive from other sources
We may also receive information about you from any of our business partners to whom you may have given your details, with permission from them to send it to us.
Security
To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed without a legal basis.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and/or clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
